Stat Legend Prints First Cards

October 2023 marks a landmark moment for Stat Legend as we proudly announce the successful printing of our very first batch of trading cards, S0P1.

The cards were designed by renowned graphic design artist Ashley Cheatham and entrepreneur Nick Weaver (also Stat Legend co-founder), while other co-founder Chris Cheatham pestered them with insane, often inane, ideas.

Created with the same finesse and passion that characterizes the high art form of collectible sports cards, Stat Legend has embarked on a mission—make youth sports more fun. With over ten youth athletes featured in this inaugural print, we aim to spotlight their hard work and dedication in a truly memorable way.

Reflecting on the special moment of receiving his own Stat Legend card, 9-year old baseball pitcher Ben Cheatham enthusiastically shared, "It's fun to see myself on a trading card — it's like I'm already in the major leagues. The designs are so cool; they really pop and capture who I am as an athlete. I can't wait for my friends to get their Stat Legend cards too, so we can start trading."

Stat Legend stands at the intersection of technology and youth sports. Each card that is made by or for a youth athlete offers more than just a stunning visual—it's a tangible reflection that sports are meant to be fun and every youth athlete should be celebrated.

The inaugural card designs -- named Season 0 -- not only includes on-demand printed and digital designs but also custom-written player summaries and key attributes.

Set to officially launch our e-commerce site in April, Stat Legend is excited to extend our unique offerings to a wider audience. With a suite of customizable card designs paired with bonus features, we're equipping young athletes with a new medium to show off their stats and accomplishments while fostering their love for the game.

In closing, this print run is merely the beginning. Stat Legend strives to be a part of the athletes' journeys, commemorating their trials, triumphs, and tales of sportsmanship.

Most importantly, we are humbled and excited to be entrusted with commemorating the early careers of such promising athletes through a collectible that we believe will be cherished for generations to come.
